Dr. Thanakorn Srisukhsai, Manager of the Safe and Creative Media Development Fund. It has been revealed that the meeting of the Committee of the Safe and Creative Media Development Fund on Thursday, May 13, 2564, acknowledged the results of the approval of project proposals or activities for the year 2564 after going through various review processes as follows:
- 51 projects or activities of the general open call type were approved, totaling 90,000,000 baht.
- Strategic projects or activities: 42 projects approved, totaling 153,920,000 baht.
- Five collaborative projects or activities were approved, totaling 20,438,660 baht.
(A total of 98 projects, with a budget of 264,358,660 baht)

- Associations/Foundations: 5 projects
- Two non-profit organizations.
- 12 state educational institutions
- One private educational institution project.
- Government agency, 1 project.
The review process, starting from the announcement of the call for project proposals on January 18, 2564, followed by the online proposal submission period from January 20 to February 19, 2564, consists of the following project/activity review processes in sequence:
1) The office conducts an initial review of documents and qualifications before submitting them to each working group for consideration.
2) Eleven working groups, appointed by resolution of the Project Screening and Development Subcommittee from among qualified experts with knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience relevant to the issues under consideration, are responsible for conducting initial screening, summarizing reports, and providing recommendations.
3) The Project Screening and Development Subcommittee, appointed by a resolution of the Safe and Creative Media Development Fund Committee, considers proposals and reports from various working groups. This function is in accordance with Article 19 of the Fund's regulations concerning the criteria and methods for allocating funds to projects or activities related to the development of safe and creative media, B.E. 2560 (2017), as amended by the regulations concerning the criteria and methods for allocating funds (No. 2), B.E. 2561 (2018).
4) The Executive Subcommittee, empowered under Section 23 of the Safe and Creative Media Development Fund Act 2558, is responsible for considering and approving projects or activities that are eligible for funding from the Fund.
5) The Committee of the Safe and Creative Media Development Fund acknowledged the results of the project or activity approval process, along with observations, suggestions, and instructed the office to proceed accordingly.

For large-scale projects under consideration, with budgets of 10 million baht or more, there are two projects: the film "Phra Ruang, the Righteous King," applied for funding by The Win Organizer Co., Ltd., with a budget of 30,000,000 baht; and the drama promoting volunteerism and civic duty, "Heart of Dedication, Volunteerism," episode "You and Me Under the Same Sky," applied for funding by Mind At Works Co., Ltd., with a budget of 14,400,000 baht.

Dr. Thanakorn It was stated that the consideration process for projects/activities this year was rigorous, thorough, and in accordance with all regulations and laws of the Fund. Fairness was ensured for all parties involved, guaranteeing that every baht allocated will produce quality results that contribute to safe and creative media, accessible and beneficial to the public, and resulting in positive social impact, in line with the Fund's strategy to promote and develop the production of safe and creative media.
Regarding the criticism following the announcement of the grant recipients, the fund manager stated that it is normal for each grant allocation process to have both winners and losers. The media fund has limited funds but received many applicants, resulting in a high number of disappointed individuals. The office acknowledges all feedback and will present it to relevant parties for analysis and to formulate guidelines for future operations.
