Claire-Jirassaya Wongsoothin The director of the series ONE YEAR 365 Days: My Home, Your Home, joins forces with two talented advertising directors. Ton-Wuttidanai Intrakaset Bom-Nithat Sinwattanagul This project will bring together 10 short films to convey interesting perspectives and stories about social media, both past and present. Viewers will enjoy the films, find entertainment, and be prompted to reflect on and question themselves, because bullying creates wounds and negatively impacts the lives of others, whether intentional or not, with serious long-term consequences.
Dr. Dhanakorn Srisooksai The manager of the Safe and Creative Media Development Fund said that: The fund hopes that these 10 short films will reach a wide target audience and raise awareness in society about the dangers and consequences of online bullying. The films utilize various elements, including adapting real-life cases into scripts, then organizing interconnected and unique episodes. Importantly, they leverage the directors' skills and talents, and feature well-known actors with established reputations, making them a suitable communication innovation for the modern era. Because they are short films, they are self-contained and don't require much time, allowing viewers to easily catch up on previous episodes. This approach is seen as an effective communication strategy that effectively targets the fund.
It has been set up, and the objectives set by the fund have also been achieved.”
Associate Professor Dr. Warach Kruchit, Chairman of the Sub-committee for Promoting and Supporting Innovation for the Development of Safe and Creative Media, stated that: “Cyberbullying is a growing problem in Thai society, with most perpetrators and victims being young people and students, due to their high levels of online media usage. Therefore, it is the Media Fund's responsibility to help raise awareness among young online users and society in general about the seriousness of cyberbullying, which can be no less serious, or even more so, than real-life bullying. For the second consecutive year, the Media Fund has launched a project proposal campaign for anti-cyberbullying media, and we have received many interesting and high-quality proposals in various formats, including series, short films, musicals, and other activities. Short films are a popular medium among teenagers and have the advantage of being easily disseminated online. They are also easy to watch and understand, requiring minimal viewing time, making them highly effective in reaching young audiences.”
