Thai Media Fund together with MCOT Organize training. "Sure Detective × Sure Before Sharing Club"
The training aims to enhance skills in identifying fake news and cyber threats. This is the second training session organized by the Sure Before Share Center of MCOT.
It is hoped that those who complete the training will be able to take the knowledge, understanding, and skills imparted by experienced individuals and be inspired to share this knowledge with society and those around them, discerning which news is true and which is false, and which should not be shared, thereby reducing the problem of people falling victim to cybercrime.
This year, the training attracted over 652 participants from three age groups: children, teachers, and the elderly. Among the detectives who completed the training, 12 years old is considered a "reliable" detective, and the oldest detective to complete the course was 78 years old.
Participants in the training will receive knowledge from experts through a Virtual Camp, a hybrid learning environment, and InnovActive Learning, starting from November 1st. Everyone is learning with great interest after realizing that current society faces the ongoing problem of fake news in cyberspace, impacting society in various ways. Many people unknowingly fall victim to this threat and even face prosecution under the Computer Crime Act.
