Signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to develop a curriculum for educating people about safe and creative media.
Under the project to develop cooperation between the Safe and Creative Media Development Fund and local higher education institutions to create knowledge and understanding about safe and creative media.
Both organizations will collaborate to integrate knowledge in safe and creative media into the courses of the four faculties: the Faculty of Information Technology, the Faculty of Management Science, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and the Faculty of Education.
This will be a pilot program to instill knowledge of safe and creative media in students, providing them with a foundation and resilience to help prevent media-related problems and contribute to the creation of a healthy media ecosystem and a learning society that promotes creative processes for Thai society.
The curriculum for building knowledge about safe and creative media (E-book) includes: 1) Definitions and characteristics of safe and creative media and unsafe and uncreative media; 2) Knowledge about safe and creative media and unsafe and uncreative media; 3) The impact of media on society; and 4) Essential knowledge about ethics, professional conduct, and laws related to media production.
This memorandum of agreement represents a collaborative effort to provide mutually beneficial access to knowledge about safe and creative media, and to support the learning process so that it can be incorporated into core curriculum courses in the future.
