(September 21, 2566) The Safe and Creative Media Development Fund signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Bio-Economic Development Agency (Public Organization) to jointly promote and develop the soft power of local community culture. This aims to create sustainable added value through the upgrading of products, services, and food derived from biodiversity and local wisdom. The signing ceremony took place at the Safe and Creative Media Development Fund office. The purpose of this MOU is to promote and develop the soft power of local communities' culture, leading to sustainable added value through the upgrading of products, services, and food derived from biodiversity and local wisdom.
To develop safe and creative cultural media for local communities, utilizing biodiversity and local wisdom to transmit local cultural identity and enhance tourism through community and local participation.
To promote and support the development of media literacy skills and the ability to monitor unsafe and unconstructive media.
Develop a body of knowledge for communicating and exchanging information on the surveying and compilation of biodiversity resources and local wisdom.
To foster community engagement and network partnerships for information exchange, the aim is to create safe and constructive media that is accessible and utilizing biodiversity and local wisdom universally.
To promote and support public relations and communication to disseminate information and news on the development of safe and creative media stemming from bio-based economic development, the conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity, and to reach the wider public.
Dr. Tanakorn Srisukhsai, Manager of the Safe and Creative Media Development Fund, stated that this collaboration shares the common objective of promoting and developing the soft power of local community culture, leading to sustainable added value through the upgrading of products and services to international standards.
This includes promoting media literacy skills and the ability to monitor and report unsafe and unconstructive media.
