(November 29, 2567) The Safe and Creative Media Development Fund, in collaboration with the Professional Qualification Institute, signed a memorandum of understanding to develop and enhance the skills, knowledge, and abilities of personnel in the media and entertainment industry.

Mr. Nakorn Silpa-archa They stated that this is a great opportunity for collaboration, which will allow both parties to work together to develop and enhance the skills, knowledge, and capabilities of personnel in the media industry.

And entertainment is provided with professional standards and qualifications, fostering public participation.

This memorandum of understanding aims to monitor unsafe and unconstructive media, and promote and support the creation of innovative, safe, and constructive media public relations so that everyone can access and utilize it universally for the benefit of society and in line with government policy. It also marks a positive starting point for collaboration between the National Skills Development Agency (NSTDA) and the Media Fund to jointly create new societal values ​​by accepting and utilizing the professional qualifications system through safe and constructive media. Furthermore, it seeks to raise awareness and acceptance of the professional qualifications system, and to disseminate and publicize joint activities widely across all sectors.

Dr. Dhanakorn Srisooksai It was stated that both organizations are pleased to collaborate, leveraging their shared experience, skills, occupational standards, and professional qualifications to develop personnel in the media and entertainment industry and related fields. Given the rapid changes in media and the emergence of new professions, maintaining media literacy is crucial. This requires developing the skills, knowledge, abilities, and competencies of personnel in the media and entertainment industry nationwide. Promoting the certification process for industry professionals based on occupational standards will enhance credibility and quality. The Safe and Creative Media Development Fund is pleased to support the development of safe and creative media, as well as the sharing of knowledge and experience in safe and creative media production between the two organizations.

Ms. Chullada Meechul It was stated that the signing ceremony of this Memorandum of Understanding stems from the shared intention of both parties, the Professional Qualification Institute and the Safe and Creative Media Development Fund, to collaborate in developing and enhancing skills and knowledge related to the media and entertainment industry through professional standards. This includes developing media that aligns with professional standards and qualifications, fostering public participation in monitoring unsafe and uncreative media, and promoting innovation and jointly publicizing safe and creative media so that everyone can access and utilize it effectively for the benefit of society. On behalf of the Professional Qualification Institute, we thank the Safe and Creative Media Development Fund for recognizing the mutual benefit in creating new societal values ​​by accepting and utilizing the professional qualification system. We sincerely hope to receive continued cooperation and support from the Fund to drive our collaborative efforts forward in a concrete manner.

The objectives of this MOU are as follows:

  1. To develop and enhance the skills, knowledge, and abilities of personnel in the media and entertainment industry, and other related fields, through occupational standards; to develop media that aligns with occupational standards and professional qualifications; to foster public participation in monitoring unsafe and unconstructive media; and to promote and support innovation and jointly publicize safe and constructive media so that everyone can access and utilize it universally for the benefit of society.
  2. To collaboratively utilize occupational standards and professional qualifications for human resource development.
    In the media and entertainment industry, and in other areas related to the media and entertainment industry.
  3. To collectively create new values ​​in society by accepting and utilizing the professional qualification system.
  4. To collaboratively research and develop safe and creative media content, processes, curricula, and training packages that meet the needs of people in the media and entertainment industry and align with professional standards and qualifications.
  5. To collaboratively promote public participation in using safe and constructive media, and to jointly monitor unsafe and unconstructive media.
  6. To collaboratively raise awareness and acceptance of the professional qualifications system, as well as to disseminate and publicize joint activities widely across all sectors.
