(23 June 68) The Safe and Creative Media Development Fund of the Lamphun Provincial Administrative Organization and UNICEF Thailand, in collaboration with partner organizations such as the Thai Parliament, the Publishers and Booksellers Association of Thailand (PUBAT), the Office of Human Resource Development and Social Mission (OHSD) of Prince of Songkla University, Thammasat University Library, and Happy Me-Dee Co., Ltd., held a meeting to enhance education and discuss the 'Read, Play, Learn' project to promote child development and reading skills to reach their full potential. The meeting took place in the Thong Urai Room, 2nd floor, Lamphun Provincial Administrative Organization Auditorium.

Mr. Veeradet Phuphisit The President of the Lamphun Provincial Administrative Organization, along with officials, participated in a meeting to discuss upgrading education in Lamphun Province. Dr. Chamnan Ngammaneeudom Representatives from the 'Read, Play, Learn' project team, which aims to promote child development and reading skills for children to reach their full potential, held a meeting to discuss and plan project implementation in Li District, Lamphun Province. The goal is to build a collaborative network to promote early childhood development, prepare children for learning in early childhood, and develop reading skills in primary school. This will improve children's academic achievement and foster lifelong learning skills through reading and play activities in schools, the use of digital media to promote reading, and the encouragement of broad public participation in developing safe and creative media targeting children, youth, and families, as well as promoting age-appropriate learning skills.
The 'Read, Play, Learn' project will comprise four areas of activity: developing collaborative networks to promote reading and child development; providing libraries with books and toys for early childhood, parents, guardians, educational institutions, public health agencies, and early childhood care facilities; organizing reading promotion activities in schools and utilizing digital media to promote reading; and monitoring and evaluation.
The project will be implemented in pilot areas: Li District in Lamphun Province and Raman District in Yala Province.
