Five organizations have joined forces to launch Cyber Booster Season 2, equipping individuals with intellectual tools under the Cyber Booster Podcasting 2026 project to build 'Digital Resilience' against cyber threats in the AI era.

(January 13, 2026) The Cyber Booster Podcasting 2026 Digital Resilience #AI Era: Combating Cyber Threats project was launched on the "Station for the People" program on Thai PBS television. This is a significant step in the collaboration between national agencies to create a "digital shield" for Thai people, especially in an era where AI is being fully utilized as a tool by criminals. It is a collaboration of five key organizations representing different but interconnected dimensions, led by... Dr. Chamnan Ngammaneeudom Deputy Manager of the Safe and Creative Media Development Fund,  Mr. Nanthasit Nitmetha President of the Online News Producers Association, Pol. Maj. Gen. Niwet Apawasin Deputy Commander of the Technology Crime Investigation Bureau, Royal Thai Police. Miss Chayawadee Chaianan
Assistant Governor, Corporate Relations and Spokesperson, Bank of Thailand. Mr. Adisak Limprungpatanakit Deputy Director, Thai Public Broadcasting Service (Thai PBS)

This project represents a proactive strategy to build a technological shield for Thai people amidst the significantly increasing severity and complexity of cyber threats due to the advent of artificial intelligence (AI). It focuses on producing accessible and modern video podcasts to enhance media and digital literacy skills, enabling citizens to sustainably cope with the risks of the modern world.

Currently, Thai society faces a major challenge from the evolving nature of cybercrime. Criminals are no longer relying on basic tricks but are employing advanced technology, particularly artificial intelligence (AI), as tools for committing crimes. These include creating sophisticated fake news, deepfakes (voice and facial impersonation) for financial fraud, online threats, and the misuse of personal information for illegal purposes.

These threats have a wide-ranging direct impact, affecting the safety of people's lives and property, undermining confidence in the digital economy, and damaging the overall social structure.

The Safe and Creative Media Development Fund and its partners recognize the urgent need to enhance communication for online warning systems. Therefore, they have developed the Cyber Booster Podcasting 2026 project under the concept of Digital Resilience, aiming to build digital immunity so individuals can protect themselves from online threats and effectively cope with unforeseen events. This encompasses awareness, prevention, and response, ensuring that citizens not only 'know' but also possess the 'skills' to promptly respond, verify, and protect themselves.

A highlight of this year's project is the presentation of content through six video podcasts, a popular media format that effectively explains complex issues in an easy-to-understand way. All content is designed to align with the context of emerging threats in the AI era, covering the three most important key issues today:

  1. Building immunity against financial fraud: An in-depth look at online transaction scams and how to protect your bank accounts.
  2. Dealing with Fraud: Recognizing Tricks to Scams, Threats, and Data Theft
  3. Understanding the Dangers of AI Fake News: Techniques for Verifying False Information Created by AI and Using Media Critically.

The ultimate goal of this knowledge resource is to reduce risk and minimize potential harm to the public, aiming to empower viewers with practical application of the knowledge. This includes self-protection, seeking assistance from government agencies, and sharing accurate information with those around them, ultimately contributing to the creation of a safe, trustworthy, and sustainable digital society.

The unique aspect of Cyber Booster Podcasting 2026 is that it serves as a central platform bringing together real experts from all sectors—including law enforcement, financial regulators, and the media—to share their experiences and knowledge. This ensures the public receives the most in-depth, comprehensive, and reliable information. We are honored to have distinguished speakers including:

  1. On the side of suppression and law enforcement, which will expose exemplary cases and new methods used by criminals, led by...
  • Police Lieutenant Colonel Pakkrit Krityapong, Cyber Security Group Inspector / Kakinnang Team
  • Police Lieutenant Colonel (Prospective) Phichaphong Somkul and Police Lieutenant (Female) Phichayakorn Sukthavee, of the Kakinnang team.
  • Police Lieutenant Nonthaphat Inthrasorn, Central Investigation Bureau (CIB)
  1. Financial Security (Bank of Thailand): An In-Depth Look at Financial Security Measures and Data Security Systems.
  • Mr. Supakorn Chotikapa, Deputy Director, Bank of Thailand.
  • Police Lieutenant Colonel Winap Wongarak, Senior Investigator, Investigation and Intelligence Center, Security Division, Bank of Thailand.
  1. In the field of mass communication and media literacy (SONP & Thai PBS's "Station for the People" program), leading presenters and news anchors will help simplify complex information and reflect the perspective of media consumers.
  • Ms. Thidarat Anantarakitt, host of the People's Station program on Thai PBS television.
  • Ms. Thanyarat Thammoi, news anchor from PPTVHD36, is a representative from the Society of Online News Producers (SONP).

The gathering of Cyber Boosters reflects a commitment to integrating collaboration between government agencies, the media, and network partners to systematically and continuously drive cybersecurity communication for the second year. Building on the success of the Cyber Booster #BuildingImmunityAgainstCyberThreats project, the program has been adapted with more intensive, concise, and focused content specifically on AI to keep pace with the changing global landscape. It continues to receive primary support from the Safe and Creative Media Development Fund.

The Cyber Booster Podcasting 2026 Digital Resilience #AI Era and Cyber Threats project reaffirms the commitment of five partner organizations—including the Online News Producers Association, the Safe and Creative Media Development Fund, the Royal Thai Police, the Bank of Thailand, and the "Station for the People" program on Thai PBS—to creating a safe and creative media ecosystem, enabling Thai citizens to overcome cyber threats and live confidently in the digital world.
